June 12th-14th :4th Alaric Photography Encounters in Capendu – Catherine Chouard is one of three photographers invited out of 50 exhibitors in the Objectif Image network. She will exhibit at the Lavoir gallery and present the Manifesto of Frugal Photography© during the round table discussion on the Bicentennial of Photography on June 13th at 5:30 pm.

At the invitation of the Diagonal Network, I will be speaking at the plenary session on March 25 in Carcassonne, on the theme “From Always More to Just Enough: The Art of Cultivating Robustness” at the National Photography Conference.
Careful about the resources used in photographic practice, Catherine wanted to spark a collective awareness in 2026, year of the bicentennial of photography.
Therefore, at this conference, she launched a “Manifesto of Frugal Photography©” to invite all stakeholders to collectively revisit their practices and the resources they use in order to make them more regenerative and sustainable. To participate don’t hesitate to contact her.
